Build Your Business   /   Retention and Expansion Program

We believe that helping businesses grow is a vital economic development strategy. That’s why we’ve teamed up with our neighbors in Shiloh to create the O’Fallon-Shiloh Business Retention & Expansion (BRE) Program.

Modeled after the University of Minnesota’s BRE program, the idea is based on the knowledge that 86 percent of new jobs are created by existing businesses.

Our O’Fallon-Shiloh BRE program is a comprehensive, coordinated approach to build stronger connections between businesses and the community. In short, it’s about connecting business owners with residents and community members to identify and solve challenges throughout the city.

Key BRE Objectives

• Assist local businesses in thriving and expanding in the OSA
• Create a partnership between the O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce, the City of O’Fallon, The Village of Shiloh, and the local business community
• Help solve immediate business concerns
• Build community capacity to sustain growth and development
