Ellen Leaf-Moore and Tim Moore’s business found a home in O’Fallon, Illinois.

Ellen is an Ohio native, educated at Ohio University and Ursuline College. She worked and eventually managed her family’s Hartville, Ohio bridal business before moving to Atlanta where she was a district manager for a chain of men’s formal wear stores and then became a general manager for Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn in Atlanta. She then moved to the St. Louis area where she became general manager for Pottery Barn at Plaza Frontenac.

Tim is an Indiana native educated at Purdue University. Tim worked in the men’s apparel business as a buyer and store manager and then accepted a position with a men’s formal wear rental company where he moved up the ranks to hold a variety of vice-presidential positions with the company. After twenty-seven years with the company he then moved to the manufacturing side of the formal wear business with the oldest men’s formal wear manufacturer in the world.

Ellen and Tim began work on Fezziwig’s in the summer of 2007, opening the store in October of that year. Ellen heads the buying for the company in addition to directing merchandising presentation along with hiring and training all associates.

When Ellen has free time, she loves cooking, entertaining, gardening and singing and spoiling Samson, their large black flat coated retriever, and two cats, Nigel and Darby. Tim enjoys local history and preservation and working on his family’s genealogy in his free time. Both are happily settled in O’Fallon and look forward to continuing to service to the area.

“We think this area, the downtown O’Fallon area, is really on fire. We have several new businesses coming and it’s really exciting.”
