Façade Program

The West O’Fallon Façade Improvement Program was developed from the successful Downtown District Program – a catalyst for Downtown O’Fallon’s vibrant atmosphere. The same program is now available to select property owners located in West O’Fallon!

West O’Fallon Businesses:

The purpose of the program is to encourage and assist select property and business owners located in West O’Fallon to improve the exterior appearance of their buildings.

Applicants are eligible to receive up to 50% of the project cost up to a maximum of $14,999, based on fund availability. Funds are limited and winning projects will be selected as part of a competitive application process. This is a reimbursement program; grant dollars are disbursed at the time of project completion for approved projects that have submitted all required documentation.

Applications must be received no later than 5:00 pm, September 30, 2024.

July 8, 2024 – Application Period Open
September 30, 2024 – Application Deadline
October 2024 – Grants Awarded

West O’Fallon Home Improvement program:


Properties that are occupied by the owner are eligible for funding. Rental or for-sale properties are not eligible. The City of O’Fallon is offering a grant program to renovate exteriors and interior components of residential properties. Improvements include: paint, siding, porches, roofs, driveways, and more.

This façade improvement grant will cover 90% of the costs of eligible improvements up to a maximum of 10,000 dollars in total improvements.

Grant funding example:
Total improvement costs: $10,000
Grant funding (90% of total improvements): $9,000
Remaining owner costs: $1,000

Applications must be received no later than 5:00 pm, December 13, 2024.
